If you have ever had a loved one that needs caring, if you have ever cared for a loved one, or if you have ever been a part of the caregiving process you know exactly how important these professionals are to each and everyone of our families.
Part of our mission here at CNAthrive.com is to help to cultivate and develop the care givers of the future. We do this by collecting and putting together the CNA Thrive Training Caregivers of Tomorrow Scholarship. This award is given out each year to as many candidates as we can afford to sponsor. The scholarship is given to candidates who are working to become caregivers but do not have the financial means to attend an educating institution.
Candidates are chosen based upon the following criteria:
-Financial Need
-Current Education
-Volunteer Work
-History of Caregiving
-Must be applying to or attending a Nursing, LPN, or CNA Program
-A 500-1000 word essay outlining an interesting or current topic about their career, profession or education
Candidates who are awarded this scholarship will receive up to $1500. Upon completion of the course the candidate will be asked to come back to CNAthrive.com to share their experience and stories.
Applications for the scholarship go out November 1st however it is important that you sign up to receive your application below. The deadline for all applicants will be March 31st.
The scholarships are awarded once per year on June 30th, when we celebrate our National Caregiver Day.
