Here, you will also learn the proper methods to undergo, if you suspect that your  patient is choking or has got the stroke or the heart attack in addition to other scenarios. The CPR certification is also a requirement, and a number of some schools always offer this, as a part of their training program. If not, then the American Red Cross is a great option to pursue in your area.

Part of the training program will consist of several hours that you will spend while working in a medical setting and  performing the hands-on procedures. Here, you will be required to learn more things, all about the medical equipment which the  nurse aides use, and how to actually record the data. You will also learn the basic phlebotomy skills and how to perform the grooming duties for the incapacitated patients. Infection control is essential, and you will address these concerns both in the classroom and on the job.
