Find a CNA Training Program
CNA training in Oklahoma has a required 120 hours of course study that must be successfully completed for students to qualify to sit for the state licensing exam. These hours are mostly focused in the class, but no less than 16 hours will be performed in a medical setting obtaining hands on experience.
Step 2:
Complete and pass all courses in your CNA training program. Curriculum is based on federal guidelines and is designed to enable you to be prepared for the Nurse assessment test.

CNA Testing Procedures and Applying for CNA Certification in Oklahoma
Step 1:
Find an Oklahoma CNA certification testing site, and apply to take the exam.
Once your CNA training in Oklahoma is completed, then you will be ready to take the Oklahoma State Nurse Aide Competency Test. Applications must be submitted to D&S Diversified Technologies. Once the application is processed you will be scheduled to take the test.
Step 2:
Prepare for the certification exam. You can do this by taking CNA practice tests and reviewing what you’ve learned in your training program.
Step 3:
Take and pass the Oklahoma CNA certification exam. Arrive early on test day so that you will have time to get prepared, and be sure to bring a signed picture identification with you, as you will need this to test.
The Ohio nursing assistant assessment is taken in two stages. The first stage of the exam is offered in either oral or written form. It has 72 questions in which you should get no less than 25% of the answers wrong if you wish to pass.
During the second stage of the test, you will be required to show your skills on a volunteer in front of testing administrators.
Step 4:
Once you have passed the test, you will be able to apply with the Oklahoma Nurse Aide Registry to be listed as a certified nurse aide. It is possible that it could take up to 6 weeks before you are officially certified but, you will be able to work during this time. Your documents will be mailed to you within this time frame.
While you are waiting for your official certification, you can begin to create your resume, which will play an important role when you are looking for a CNA job.
