Steps to CNA Certification in West Virginia

Nursing aides are one of the most in demand workers nowadays. Step 2:

Before you can enroll in CNA classes in West Virginia, you’ll have to meet a few requirements including being 18 years of age and must have already obtained your high school diploma. Enrolling in any medical program requires students to undergo a criminal background check along with a full physical and medical examination.

CNA Testing Procedures and Applying for CNA Certification in West Virginia

Step 1:

Visit the PHD website and download the application form. Fill it up with the appropriate and accurate information, and them it back to them along with all the required supporting documents. You’ll need to prepare around $100 for your examination fee. The agency will then notify you through mail about where and when you’ll be taking the examination.

Step 2:

The exam is going to be in two parts, namely the written and skills performance examination.

The written part contains 100 multiple choice questions, while the skills performance part consists of five nursing aide skill tests that you will have to complete with 100% accuracy. You shall be given 2 hours to finish the first part, and another 50 minutes to complete the latter.

Step 3:

Once you pass both parts of the examination, you’re now a  certified nurse aide in West Virginia, and are eligible to work immediately. Now you can create your profile and start looking for your first job as a CNA.

Step 4:
